"Claiborne Pell Bridge in Winter"

When I took this photograph, I was using a cheap set of plastic "neutral density" filters, which were quite obviously not neutral. However, I think the effect on this shot is very interesting, so I elected to keep it. I have since purchased a set of excellent Benro Master Series neutral density filters. They are well worth the money.

"Monument to Confederate General James Longstreet, Gettysburg National Battlefield, PA"
This is one of my earliest photographs taken with a DSLR, which I took in 2017 while working in Washington, DC for three months. I took it with a used Olympus E5 Four-Thirds camera that I bought at District Camera in DC for $150. It included two lenses and was hardly even used. I've since given the camera and lenses to my son.

"Photographer with his 16x20 Ritter Camera on the Wood River, Rhode Island"

My son and I were kayaking on the Wood River and saw this gentleman when we came around a bend in the river. His camera was pointed upstream, and he was waiting for a clear shot. We hurried by as quickly as we could to get out of his shot, despite my curiosity about his camera. We couldn't travel much farther upriver, so on our way back down I asked him what his camera is and what aperture he was shooting, guessing it was f/64 (I was correct). He had hauled this beast of a camera upriver in a canoe. I took this picture with my Olympus TG-2 waterproof camera.
